Are you ever wondering why you are not able to play some new games? That because some games that releasing today must run on PSP Firmware 6.20 or above. Which your PSP might be running on 5.00 M33 or 5.50 GEN. Nowthe custom firmware 6.20 not hacked yet. So, this is the solution on how to play 6.20 games on 5.00 M33 or 5.50 GEN.

Check out what you’ll need to have.

  • WQSG_UMD
  • UMD Dump PRX
  • PRXDecrypter or ISO Tool
  • Prometheus

How to do ?

  1. You need to create ISO image file from the UMD Disc
  2. Open the ISO with WQSG_UMD go to PSP_GAME/SYSDIR
  3. Extract “EBOOT.BIN” to anyfolder.
  4. User ISO Tool (or PRXDecrypter) to extract EBOOT file and rename it to EBOOT.OLD
  5. Extract the Prometheus package, now you’ll have prometheus.prx and a new EBOOT.BIN
  6. Get back to WQSG_UMD drag EBOOT.OLD, EBOOT.BIN and prometheus.prx files back to PSP_GAME/SYSDIR.
  7. Now, you’re ready to play!
